Best Restaurant in Los Angeles. Barragan's, as I said in the heading, is the best restaurant in Los Angeles. Is this really true? Probably not but the margarita on Wednesday at $2.50, they have free chips, great salsa and the best service ever. It's just a fun place to go with your friend. Note, the margaritas are the strongest drinks in Los Angeles.

Cheap Margaritas! Free chips!. Though their regular margaritas might not taste that great, for $2.50 they don't have to. I highly suggest splurging and spending an extra dollar for the flavored margaritas, they're tasty. Most importantly, free chips and salsa at every table.

Wonderful place to share with someone special.. A very memorable experience. I will definitely be back and hope to re-live that experience over and over. The atmosphere is very romantic and during the holidays is beautifully decorated. I cannot wait to return!

echoparkcat. I have been going to Barragan's for over a decade. The food is fresh as can be and their Cadillac Margarita's are fantastic. I recently tried their ceviche... excellent. My Mejicana momma loves their cocido...

Go on Wednesdays!!. Great Mexican food, ambiance and service. This family-owned establishment in Echo Park has been around for years. They offer great weekly specials. Sit in the bar area on Wednesdays and get discounted margaritas and complimentary nachos. The weekends feature Bloody Mary specials. It's a great place to watch the Lakers too.

Barragans Forever!. I love Barragans so much. We go there all the time, and its always good. The margaritas are excellent. The Chicken Fajita Tostada is my favorite, I love the Mole and the Nachos Barragans. Its a really homey, sweet place with comfy booths, big drinks and great food.

just like home, only better. God i love this place. The food, like moms home cooking, the staff, like family. I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. the food is so generous and tasty. One thing for sure, by the time you reach the cashiers booth (with the beautiful michelle, I believe her name is) , you would have loosened your tie , unbuckled your belt, and unbuttonedor unzipped your pants, so you can breathe again. i suggest a chile verde burrito especial or any one of the combinations. they are fairly priced, and tasty. the taqiutos are another fav, and the margaritas are supreme.

The Bomb Mexican place to go!. This food is excellent, I have been going here for years. I have not seen very many Mexican restaurants come close. Very nice people.

Full Bar. Great pleace to take a date, and the whole family. They can host a private party as well. The prices are reasonable.

For 2 people on a date look to spend around $30.00-$40.00 Including drinks.
