Since 1994, this vintage-meets-modern interior design firm has expanded to fill three storefronts with their wares--two on the west side of the street, one the east. The house style mixes sophisticated, low-key mid-century pieces with Asian art and furnishings for a blend that suggests mature, confident West Coast tastes circa 1964. Abstract contemporary paintings by Kate Simmons gleam above gilded wheat sheaf candle-holders, an ebony bookcase, Chinese horse figurines and plush, low couches.
