Terrible food, worse service. I ordered a calzone by phone, they brought me a burger. They did bring my actual order about an hour later and charged me for both & won't give me a refund. It has been a week, I've called, stopped in and e-mailed, there is never a manager present and the owner is not available at any time.



As for the food - repulsive, the burger they sent (which i did not even touch & did return) looked like a frozen pre-made patty. The calzone I received was actually not even a calzone, it was a stromboli & a disgusting one at that. Their sauce is painfully reminiscent of something from a middle school cafeteria. F-, there are so many great places in Los Feliz to eat, don't waste your time with El Greco.

Perched on a prime corner in the heart of Los Feliz, this casual Greek joint is a favorite for inexpensive eats served until midnight.. In Short
Inside the tiny dining room, five or six tables flank a counter that separates the dining area from the sizzling grill. A renovation in 2008 added stone tile floors, upgraded chairs and lighting and a small display case filled with baklava and Greek cookies. But the real draw is the sidewalk tables tucked below a cheery yellow awning outside. Sandwiched between the Los Feliz 3 movie theater and Fred 62, this particular vista offers primo people watching. On the menu, you'll find pizzas, burgers and sandwich melts, but you can't beat the Greek selections that make up the bulk of the offerings. Starters and sides like hummus, tzatziki, babaganoush and dolmades warm up the palate for lamb or chicken gyros, chicken or beef souvlaki, mousaka and much more.

Great gyros!. Best in the neighborhood for gyros. I agree that the inside is small and HOT so don't sit in there. People are very nice and the food is excellent!! Can be crowded, but that's Los Feliz!

Best Gyros n Greek in Hollywood. This place serves traditional Greek dishes and some italian flair as well, including lots of pizza. BUT the best thing about El Greco Cafe is the GYROS!!! Best Gyros, PERIOD! Also try the grape leaves and the Greek Mystique (which is more of a Greek Salad than it's description on the menu suggests. GO HERE FOR GYROS!!! They deliver, but it takes FOREVER. You're better off just picking it up. It is right next door to the Los Feliz 3 cinemas and has a pickup lane in front for a quick pickup. And the price is VERY cheap.
