cool place, worst sense, favorite dive bar, in expensive drinks, great music, great wether, good bar tenders
RUDE BARTENDER CHARGED US MORE THAN DOUBLE!!. Last Fri night, my friend and I quietly sat at the bar and waited for several minutes for service, though the bar wasn
Dive-y bar with an upper scale crowd/. Although the drink price don't suggest it, this bar is quite a dive inside. Lots of regulars, good bar tenders, jukebox, and a mish mash of Los Feliz hipsters and drinkers.
The only no-frills Los Feliz dive bar with potent drinks, bar games and a dragon mural on the wall..
In Short
Tucked beside a mini-mall Laundromat, this bar has all the glamour that one would expect from a seedy Hollywood dive bar: Strung-up Christmas lights, a massive bar that sweeps down the narrow and dark room and, oh yeah, a psychedelic dragon mural. Plasma screens broadcast sports as the bar maids (who look like B-movie starlets) serve up brews and 'tails. The eclectic crowd is a hodepodge of guys sporting vintage T-shirts and dressed down ladies ready for a little flirting and a whole lot of drinking.
Dive Bar Extraordinaire. This place has quickly become my favorite Dive bar. I rarely go, but thats from scheduling conflicts not preference. I love this place! They have great music, drinks are in expensive and potent. Overall, if you love dive bars this is where to be.
Best of the Best in Los Angeles. The small bar in a mini strip mall may not seem like much, but the environment is great! It is the local friendly watering hole for actors/waiters, laid back residents, local cops, firemen and nurses. The staff and bartenders are great wether you come in at 6am after a nightshift or brave the always busy evenings. The jukebox in the back has a great musical selection and the dartboard always keep the place jumping. The drinks are well served and very inexpensive (compared to any other local bars). Definately a great place to go!
What's the draw all about?. Well. . . its almost always crowded. Great place to meet people. Drinks are on the average. There is a juke box in the rear to the left of the darts. All around it's a cool place to drop in for a quick drink!
Friendly Dive. A dark but friendly dive in Los Feliz. The whole place is about the size of a small mobile home. No windows anywhere, of course, but the spirit of the crowd fills the room with an embrasive light. There are a couple of dart boards that get much action, and the juke box offers some fine selections.
for the die-hards. This is a true BAR. It is for the true drinkers of the world who enjoy drinking till they fall off their stool. To add to the value of this bar, there is a really cheesy jukebox of every old song you have forgotten about or were too embassed to admit you ever liked. Oh, and the best part is that they open at like 6AM. You can crawl over there after all the after-hours.
