In Short – Bibliophiles with dust allergies and a mild case of claustrophobia might cringe at first glance, but this dusty little shoebox is a treasure trove of used books that stretches back into the rundown recesses of its cracking walls. There are numerous sections, but a standout is the collection of science fiction featuring many of the most notable names of the genre, including Orson Scott Card, L. Ron Hubbard, Issac Asimov and others. Most books are priced as marked, but many paperbacks are sold at half the original cover price.

A secret treasure room

I stumbled upon this wonderful, quaint store while shopping on Ventura for shoes. I had been meaning to purchase some new(old) poetry books since I moved out from the east coast and left my massive library behind, but was not expecting to find such high quality in such a tiny shop!
To my surprise, the selection wasn't as small as I had thought by the look of the store, however, when I did find the books I wanted, the prices were a bit higher than I desired. It should be noted though that most of the books are HARD COVERED and OLD FIRST EDITIONS, which of course up the price.
If you're looking for a classic, worn, and weathered book ripe for fresh eyes, this is your spot.
