This is a great salon that offers an incredibly reasonable price. Several years ago, I used Citysearch to find a good place in LA for quality but reasonably-priced japanese hair straightening, and stumbled on this amazing gem. Grace impressed me with the attention she put in her work, and her genuine care for the health and quality of my hair. My straightening perm has always, without fail, come out perfectly, and lasts for up to a whole year! For anyone who is considering getting a perm, go to Grace and you won't regret it. DO NOT go to a fancy beverly hills salon who will charge you triple the price. I have been going back to Grace every single year, even after I moved away I still go back when I come to LA. In regards to haircuts, Grace listens to what you want, and gives you exactly that. She is detail oriented and incredibly skilled in what she does. She's great with my Asian hair, and I've also seen other customers of various ethnicities who all leave happy with a smile on their face. It's a great feeling when you've found someone who you TRUST with your hair. I have not considered going to any other place since I've found Grace. BEST KEPT SECRET IN KTOWN. I hope she stays there forever!!

I really was in a slump and was in desperate need of a new hairdo. A cut, color or whatever. I had a picture of a style in mind for a really short bob and took it to Grace. She was so accommodating and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. The cut was phenomenal, so chic, so trendy, so what I needed. Her skill is beyond measure and she has been in business at the same location for over 20 years. She has tons of experience and most of all, she has great prices. We all know the economy is in a slump, but that doesn't mean you cant get a great hair cut!!! Go to grace, you'll keep going back...

I heard about Grace's salon via citysearch and decided to give it a try; just a trim and conservative color to start with. If you don't speak Korean, do as many users recommend, and bring photos, of the back, front, and/or side. Be clear as you can about what you want to achieve; Grace speaks little English and it should be your responsibility to make sure you're both on the same page! If you don't like thinning scissors used on your hair, then say so. My first visit turned out ok and I have been going back ever since. I'm not into funky cuts and crazy colors, what is most important to me is a quality cut that is easy to care for, and gives my long hair movement and body. Grace does just that for me, and for an AMAZING price. I would highly recommend Grace to anyone looking for a quality classic cut.
