All aboard! This miniature train ride in Griffith Park has been a generational favorite among children, parents and young-at-heart adventurers since it first opened to the public in 1948. Guests board locomotives like the Freedom Train or the Colonel Griffith to ride along the scenic mile-long track that stretches over several bridges and through an 80-foot tunnel, a lush green meadow, an old Western town, pony rides and a recreated Native American village.
