Whenever one thinks of Chicken n' Waffles, Roscoe's is the first and only place that comes to mind. Chicken is perfectly fried and juicy. And waffle is the perfect sweet compliment.

Awesome Waffles. The waffles are awesome, but the chicken is even better. The staff is great and the price is right

Profound. Roscoe's is more than just the sum of it's parts - namely chicken and waffles. It's all those side dishes, and the green (which I love) and the waiting. Waiting is defintely part of the Roscoe's experience. But if that bothers you just go to the one in Pasadena then.

try it once and never again. i think chicken n waffles together is magical. but if you eat the 2 things individually, they are not the best waffles and the chicken is like KFC. the only thing that made the chicken bearable was the gravy covering up the dryness and lack of flavor. this place is way overpriced for skimpy portions and on weekends the wait is like an hour long outside in a bad area. i'm only recommending it because everyone should go out and try chicken and waffles if they are too lazy to make it themselvesm but i'm sure anyone could make it better themselves.

Interesting concept. We've been meaning to try Roscoe's for awhile now, but our experienced was mixed. Service was generally friendly, and you certainly don't go here for the atmosphere. Rich really loved the combination of fried chicken and waffles drenched in butter and syrup. Chris was not so impressed, and thought that the chicken was ordinary. Our sides of hot water corn bread and greens were also just OK.

However, we both agreed that the prices seemed extremely high for what we got. Waffles and fried chicken do not involve expensive ingredients. A can of soda for $1.60? Two small pieces of corn bread for $1.25? A small portion of greens for over $3? We won't be there anytime soon again.

I LOVE ROSCOES!. I haven't been there in a while, but when I do go, I have the best time ever! The waitresses are so funny and nice, and give me a new nickname everytime I go. Best place for a cholesterol fest!

Well worth the price. If youre looking for some phenomenal place with great service and food thats going to dance in your mouth, keep on looking. On the other hand, Roscoes never presented that kind of image. If you look at the price range, you see only one $. And for the price, its a great place. Their chicken and grits are great. Im so-so about their waffles, but Im not a big waffle fan.

Chicken & Waffles?! Hell yes!. The Cap definitely knows what he's doing! Met the Cap at a club in Beverly Hills and he told me to try his place out. Now I'm a regular about once a week after I close the bar! I never thought that chicken and waffles would be a good choice but they are! LA institution so be prepared for a wait unless Cap considers you close.

No Way!!!. I happened to be invited for a friends gathering, and heard that it was like the best place ever. Needless to say, the waiting out in the cold for over 45 minutes was not worth the wait. When we got in, it wasn't really my type of scene on top of that there wasn't much that caught my attention on the menu. After contemplating for a while, my friends suggested that I try the "Chicken and waffles" as a first timmer. In any case, when the food arrived I couldn't help, but stare at my plate questioning as to wether or not I was given the right plate. For $9.00 I was served a chicken breast and a thin like tortilla waffle. That it!! In any case, i decided to try it, after all the price isn't so much of an issue if the taste was great, but IT WASN'T!!!!
