In Short – Built in 1929, the Manor Hotel is a 17th-century French-Rococo-inspired marvel that caters to both Scientologists and non-Scientologists. The restaurant rotunda is furnished with crown moldings, guilded wall carvings and chairs fit for Versailles. At Sunday brunch, live bands perched under a nearby gazebo serenade al fresco diners grazing on prime rib, smoked salmon, eggs benedict, French pastries and fresh fruit. Dinner items include shrimp and lobster salad, risotto of the day and rack of lamb.

While the restaurant is located in the Scientology Center, the wait staff is very good not to press you about the religion.
