I love my bar.. Most nights, I don't remember what happens at the Burgundy Room. Usually, I end up in a sing-along with people I don't know, glass gets broken, random make outs happen and I stumble home. If you are lucy, you will hear Torrance the door man sing. The drinks are strong. Yes.

I love this bar!. I have been to this bar a few times on a weekend night and every time has been an experience! The bartenders are adorable, the drinks are a bit steep but they are huge, the music is so damn good and the peopleare fun and entertaining. The Burgundy room is the kind of bar that every city needs. The dark atmosphere and wall to wall mirrors only add to the dingy charm. Forget about all of the pretentious, fakey bars...this is the place for me. But be forwarned, this bar is not for the faint of heart.

Characters in Red. No LA rhinoplasy or Botox here. Everyone looks like an extra in a David Lynch film. How heavenly, though a bit intimidating, to walk into such a bar hardly larger than a walk-in closet, with the air filled with dozens of screenplays perfectly unsuitable for Hollywood studio approval. Ahhh.

The Place is on Fire. If you are lucky, and you get past the door guy, every so often they light the bar on fire and it's worth wading through a crowd of hipsters just to see it.
