Even though it now has a street-front entrance, this famed back-alley bar still feels a little naughty. Inside, the mix of dark leather booths, exposed brick and a long, narrow wooden bar aren't necessarily inspired, but the place still manages to keep its previous (and now larger) appeal. Real bar, real people, and the only place in hollywood with a great vibe
by alexis505
The bar looks great and the vibe feels good. Check their website for special events because they always have something going on throughout the week. Music isn't typical of what's going on in the rest of hollywood, which i like (not commercial radio), and it's the perfect place to throw parties, my girls and I love it here.
Best TUESDAY night HOT SPOT
by fatalblades
I DJ here on tuesdays, and honestly, the crowds here are pretty amazing. This definitely a NY bar in a LA setting. Very low-key, and the music is always right and danceable. Hosted by Keith Wilson (MOSCOW, BETA, 82) this night promises fantastic DJ's and always special guests. To be regularly informed, come out on a Tuesday and mix up with the crowd. Key arrival times are 10pm and DJ's spin till 2am. Never a cover, Never a list, just good times.
- Pros: Lots of Room
- Cons: Parking
