What People Are Saying About Garden of Eden

In Short – Contrary to its idyllic namesake, this Garden of Eden is dark and cavernous, a Hollywood playpen complete with torches and stone pillars, a two-room dance floor, a trio of bars and a charming dungeon-like outdoor patio with comfy booths and heat lamps. The wide range of music mix is always funky and dance-driven. You'll find a throng of naughty Eves in their most alluring outfits, looking to bite into more than an apple.
THE WORST CLUB EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD
by alon_raphael
I'm not certain what the worst part of this evening was, so I'll just list everything that went wrong.
1. I order an expensive bottle of champagne and 3 double patrons; we wait and wait and wait. Finally, drinks arrive. Patrons are blatantly watered; I make a comment to the waitress who gets angry; sends bartender over to yell at us. Finally brings us another shot of patron to appease us. I am charged for the "free" patron that was meant to compensate for the watered ones.
2. Bouncer sitting right by my table hits on the girls I am with relentlessly the whole night.
3. At one point, one of my guests puts down a champagne glass and it breaks on the table. What one would think: cheap glasses! Instead, security comes over to evict us for having an intoxicated guest. After paying the bouncer $20 to go away, situation is resolved. EXTORTION OF HIGH PAYING GUESTS!
4. At the end of the evening, while there are still people in the club, my friend is in the restroom. I wait outside the restroom, where I am accosted by a bouncer who insists I leave immediately. I inform him that I do not want to lose track of my guest in the restroom. Without words, he forcibly, physically throws me out....this all after over a $500 check.
I'm a spender and a club regular....All I can say is that this is hands down the worst treatment I have ever had. If you have a special occasion or event, or just want an evening that does not involve being embarrassed and abused, I would recommend you stay away from this horribly mismanaged atrocity.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Abusive staff
Not for the drunken
by xtomatox
The venue is big. Many sitting areas. Many ups and downs so not drunkard friendly. The last time I was there, the women's restroom ran out of toilet paper in EVERY stall and the attendant did not replace. The smoking area is a little bit small, but manageable. There is a great cheap parking area right behind the club but is a little hard to see/get to.
- Pros: large location, easily accessable and cheap parking
- Cons: too many stairs
Once you get in, it's good
by chains007
If you don't get here before 10pm on a popular, you'll spend some time waiting outside. I've greased the bouncers a few times just to bypass the wait - plus cover and it gets expensive. The club is quite nice inside - spacious, good decor, huge outside area and the VIP area. Go-go dancers are really, really, really hot. And they know how to work the crowd. Drinks are a rip-off, but that's no surprise.
The Details on Garden of Eden
Know Before You Go:
Come early. If you're not on the infamous list or are coming with a party that has the guy-girl ratio of a men's softball team, get there before 10pm to have any chance of getting in.
When to Go:
It gets real hot during the week at the randomly scheduled private parties from such babe conglomerates as Playboy and Elite Modeling Agency.
Fun Fact:
The VIP area is brimming with A-listers like Hugh Hefner, B-listers like Joey Lawrence, and fell-off-the-Earth-listers.
Look Good:
Fashionable attire is required, so make sure you look sharp before leaving the house.
