Please Sample it first. My friends and I are Huge foodies. Since so many people raved about this place, we had to check it out. I neglected to sample the ice cream and alas, I hated every bite of it. The strong fragrance made it feel like I was eating roses. So PLEASE, if you never had it before, sample it first and decide whether you want to have regular ice cream or rosewater ones.

Cool..... And very different. Never knew how much I loved the stuff til I tried it. Forget plain vanilla, try the Orange Blossom.

Heaven in a cup or cone.. These two brothers are the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Iran is home to legendary rosewater and these two Iranian brothers have infused some very exotic and one of a kind flavors for your enjoyment. I personally suggest a scoop of Herbal Snow (my favorite!) mixed with a scoop of Rosewater Saffron ice cream, drizzled with imported Iranian cherry syrup and a splash of lemon juice. Tell me you didn't die and go to heaven right there. My and my friends can eat a half gallon of Herbal Snow in record time, and it's the most refreshing taste to cool you off on a hot day. They do the traditional flavors better than anywhere. Try the Praline & Almond ice cream. Or the Blueberry Cheesecake. Actually, every friend I've brought there goes back regularly. Mashti's is a cool scoop of heaven....and they stay open late, almost to midnight!

An Ice Cream experience. The servers are friendly and outgoing. They offer you tastes of any of the flavors. They make the ice cream right there at the store. Most important is that they have flavors you will not find anywhere else. Yes, they have great basic flavors like chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream, etc. However it is their exotic flavors that I like the best and that is why I go there. You have just got to try Herbal Snow (especially on a hot day). It is the most flavorful and refreshing treat I have had. Then there is the Sour Cherry Rosewater.

Best Ice-Cream ever. The icecream here is absolutely amazing! They use the perfect blend of ingredients that I ever ever tasted. I really love the icecream, I recommend it to anyone!!!!

Heavenly. Wow! One of the few places in town where you can find excellent service, exotic flavors and a great atmosphere. Nothing more tasty than a scoop of creamy rosewater ice cream along with a scoop of the rose ice and a squirt of sour cherry syrup. You should also try the pistachio saffron and orange blossom. Definitely stop by with a big appetite.

An ice cream oasis. Hollywood is so sleazy and gross. I'm glad Mashti Malone's is around to redeem the whole city. Go because the staff is friendly, the store is gleaming, and the ice cream is absolutely exquisite. There's free syrup on the tables to put on your ice cream, and you can go wild (saffron rosewater) or domestic (pralines and cream) without going wrong. Check out those cool painted signs on the walls, too.

Best Icecream in LA. The service is great, the prices are low, they have parking and the ice-cream is delicious. The rosewater and saffron are wonderful and you can always try a free sample. Definitely my favorite ice-cream place in LA.

best ice cream ever. Even if you're not into rosewater or saffron, try masthi's!!! The peanut butter cup is exquisite, and the cookies and cream is heavenly. Get dry ice for fun at home, too.
