Editorial Review for Hollywood Billiards – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Forty Brunswick tables with nary a mark on the felt make for great action. The cue-shy try foosball, darts, air hockey or just watch pro games on the eight big-screen TVs. Chain smokers step into the courtyard, while groups can retreat to two private rooms. Views from the balcony provide a lesson in the geometry of pool. Hustlers of both sexes mix with women in tube tops and guys in jeans and black T-shirts.

As with the other reviewer, we also received terrible service when we went to watch a football game on a Sunday afternoon. We sat down and did not get service for a half an hour. We ordered a pitcher of beer & two burgers and were told it would be an hour wait for our food. Beer came another twenty minutes later & sure enough our overcooked burgers came an hour later. The overcooked burger came with cool fries and a small plastic cup of ketchup. I asked the food runner for another cup or my burger & of course he never came back. I know and deal with a lot of people who I recommend where to go out when here in LA. I will defiantly tell them to avoid Hollywood Billiards at all costs. Hollywood Billiards needs to hire more staff on busy days in the kitchen, the floor & behind the bar. Poor service is all to common in LA because the staff has not been properly trained in the finer points of service. Again stay away on game day!
Pros: None
Cons: Service, quality of food and value.
