best places, never bad seat, really nice oldstyle theater, great experience, comfortable seating, incredible intricacies, comfortable red velvet chairs
Beautiful and historic. This is the place to enjoy the latest musical visiting town. The quintissential Hollywood experience.

Gorgeous art deco theater to see most popular broadway shows. Tip: Purchase seats at box office to avoid paying "service fees." Also you'll have access to purchasing tickets production releases last minute. Great way to see a show that's sold out.

Amazing bit of Los Angeles culture brings all the glamour of old Hollywood to big Broadway productions.

Historic Hollywood vaudeville house (and former home of the Oscars) now serves as the number one place for touring Broadway headliners.

Great, ornate venue to see touring productions of Broadway's biggest hits. Many are family-friendly. No service fees if you by directly from the box office.
The prices are very reasonable..
The shows are unique and the actors are fantastic.
The prices are very reasonable.
There really isn't "bad" seating anywhere.
Great!!!. The place is clean and the seats are great. The acoustics are awesome you can really hear anything from everywhere. I enjoy coming here on weekends with the family and even invite along friends too.
Burn the floor!! 5 stars.
I had the best time the other evening!!
old school atmosphere!!
Well done keeping this broadway mecca
Great experience!. Went to see West Side Story and was very impressed. The show was amazing! Our seats were great for being in the second to last row in Mezz. I don't think you could have a bad seat here. I would highly recommend this venue. Parking just across the street and reasonable. I can't wait for my next visit! Oh, make sure you are early!! Show starts right on time!
Citysearch Editorial Review. Since opening in 1930, this glittering theater on Hollywood Boulevard has served as a movie palace, music hall, home of the Academy Awards and venue for big-budget productions. Founder Alexander Pantages of the Fox Theatre chain originally presented MGM flicks and vaudeville acts, but center stage eventually gave way to live theater. The Pantages underwent a major restoration in preparation for the L.A. run of "The Lion King," bringing back the magnificent Art Deco gleam with gilded ceilings, lush trimming and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system. It remains a true Hollywood landmark.
WICKED is wicked!. I recently saw Wicked at Pantages. I highly recommend to everyone to go and see it, before it leaves. My only complaint is, that there are too many people that come late, and they are allowed to be seated 15mins after the show started.
Coolest Theatre in LA. I love the Pantages. If you're going to see a show in LA, I say see it here. This is truly one of my favorite places in LA: Great Ambience, not a bad seat in the house, and one of the coolest interiors of any theatre you've ever been in, it's like going back in time. In any case, don't take my word for it, check it out!
I've never had a bad seat.. I've been going to the Pantages since I was a teenager in the 80's when I saw "Beatlemania" . Most recently, I saw Wicked here only a couple of months ago, and I'll be going again in August. The restoration project brought the theater back to its wonderfully designed and gilded self. From the details in the lobby to the comfortable red velvet chairs in the the theatre, they did a marvelous job. Best of all, I've never had a bad seat here. Even if you never see a show here...they do architectural tours. It's definitely worth seeing.
Lion King is the one to see at whatever it takes !!. Best thing I have ever seen !!!! Would truly see this show each time it was in town, The people in stage are phenominal. Best Ever !! a ten for sure.
Very Nice Theatre.... This is a nice theatre, it is well ran. The people are freindly and are willing to guide you to where you need to be. Great place to see a play. Like the "Lion King" but you better hurry, the play will be moving on soon. The only thing I would say are the seats need to be more of a comfort.
