authentic food, great place, famous falafel, love hummus, good tongue sandwich, yummy so, good sooo
Hummus, falafel and rice is what my dreams are made of.
Creamy hummus, love the pickled turnips and the rice. Mom and Pop Lebanese shop. Shawarma was juicy and it's a lot of food for little $.
This is, hands down, some of the best falafel in L.A. Seriously, if you think all falafel tastes the same, you've never had great falafel. I suggest ordering extra tahini. The tongue sandwich is also quite good, spritzed with lemon. Small free parking lot in the mini mall.
Best and most authentic food!. I have traveled all over the US, into many of the Mid Eastern/ Mediterranean neighborhoods. Numerous visits to Greece, Cypress, Turkey, etc....no place comes close to the wonderful tastes that are consistently available at Arax Falafel....my favorite is the Chicken kebab sandwich, with some hot peppers and a side of wonderful aromatic rice. A 10+++, and the prices are very low!!!! Join me sometime!
Awesome. This place is great. I am from detroit and used to lebanese style and have been dissappointed with food from zankou, etc. Its definitely a take out place...I love their hummus & shawarma, they only have beef though. If you miss your midwestern mediterranean, this place is for you.
Best Chicken Sandwhich EVER!!!. OMG!! If you love garlic than you have to taste the chicken sandwhich. I could eat it every day of my life. My husband who is Lebanese introduced me to this place. His whole family love this place and know the owner. The Beef Shwarma is my second favorite. SO yummy. If I lived near this place I swear I would live in there. Its a tiny place so be prepared to take out because there are only like 3 tables.
The best falafel in L.A.!. I've been going to this small strip-mall Armenian sandwich place for 15 years. They have the best falafel sandwich in L.A. The pressed garlic chicken sandwich is to die for as well. If you're used to Lebanese style Armenian food, this is the place to be! Ten out of ten!!
The real deal of Falafel!. For the money, you get real sandwiches - whether Falafel or Beef Shawerma. It's a small take-out joint with about 3 booths and the food is delicious! I used to drive quite a distance for this!
