Best and most authentic food!

I have traveled all over the US, into many of the Mid Eastern/ Mediterranean neighborhoods. Numerous visits to Greece, Cypress, Turkey, etc....no place comes close to the wonderful tastes that are consistently available at Arax Falafel....my favorite is the Chicken kebab sandwich, with some hot peppers and a side of wonderful aromatic rice. A 10+++, and the prices are very low!!!! Join me sometime!

Awesome falafel!

I've been in twice, once for the tarna sandwich, which comes on grilled panini-style bread. It was ... well, interesting. Not interesting enough to lure me away from Zankou, but not bad either. The second time I had the regular pita schwarma, which I liked better, but wasn't sold. I also decided to try their famous falafel that trip, just one little ball of it for 50 cents. OMG! SOOO good! Best falafel I have ever had. It wasn't dry or oily, just perfectly crispy and a little soft on the inside. What flavor!!! I don't eat a lot of fried/bread-y stuff but I would go back and get an order of falafel sometime. I've heard their tongue sandwich is good, too. Can't wait to try it!

• Pros: great falafel, panini-style schwarmas, good value
• Cons: parking lot small, traffic, not super fast

This place is great. I am from detroit and used to lebanese style and have been dissappointed with food from zankou, etc. Its definitely a take out place...I love their hummus & shawarma, they only have beef though. If you miss your midwestern mediterranean, this place is for you.
