Offbeat little place with good food – This restaurant looks like pretty much nothing from the outside. The building is adorned only with a sign. There are no windows and you can't see inside at all. It's not the kind of place you'd randomly venture into.
The decor inside is colorful and funky. Pictures of celebs who've frequented the place are posted inside. Apparently, Peewee Herman dined here. The place has an atmosphere that's frankly weird. It's been nearly empty each time I've been there and seems to be decorated so colorfully for nobody (except Peewee, I guess).
The dishes average about $9-$10. The food is solid, authentic Mexican. Most dishes come with salad, refried beans, and rice, and all the standarad Mexican stuff is here. The seafood soup comes especially recommended and at $9 is a great bargain. Each time I've been there, the wait staff has been attentive and friendly.
I like this little place. It's fun, offbeat, and tasty.
I LOVE EATING HERE!!!!!! – VERY NICE PEOPLE THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE SERVICE OUTSTANDING RECOMENDED.
