Great AUTHENTIC Thai Food. This place is AMAZING. I have traveled to Thailand and it has just ruined my Thai dining here in LA cause nothing compares to Thai food in Thailand. But Sompun brings it home for me. The MeeKrob is amazing and you have to try the Firey Beef Salad. It is the same thing as Larb, but with beef slices instead of ground beef.

My friend took me to this place and I fell in love with it instantly. It is not a posh type of restaurant. It is in a cute old house that feels like a type of place you would go to in Thailand. This is as authentic you will get. Little hard to find and don't be mistaken for the Thai restaurant that is a block away. The service was great.

I live in the Valley and was so excited to see that they have a location in Studio City. I plan on being a regular there.

Best Thai Secret. Cat is out of the bag. Sompun is the jewel of Thai restaurants. Excellently prepared food and a huge menu.

Go for the hot curries, larb and yummy soups. Everything is as scrumptious as you would find in any local

spot in Thailand. Ambient back patio makes it perfect for parties or romantic dinners.

Hidden Gem on the Eastside!. Sumpun is my new favorite Thai spot. So what if it doesn't have the ambiance that Rambutan has, the food is amazing, and their outside patio is very charming.

bad service. Food selection varied, but nothing I ordered tasted good. The service was bad, and the waitress served the attitude faster than the food. There are better Thai places to chose from.

Yummy Thai Food. The dish to get here is Kao Soi, which is a sweet curry soup with noodles. It's the perfect comfort food, and you can have it with meat or with tofu (which is what I had). I believe there are only a handful of restauarants in LA that serve Kao Soi because it's specific to a certain region in Thailand. This is THE place to go to get it. My husband and I come here all the time.

Diamond in the Ruff. The food here is great. Try almost anything on the menu and you cant go wrong. Ive tried all my favorites from other places and this place tops them all. This place looks small and the neighborhood looks a little scarce, however this is what is considerd a diamond in the ruff. Try it yourself.

thailandhas come to l.a.. this restaraunt has the most magnificent tasty foods. the selection is totally outrageous, so many items to choose from. i have been dining at this restaurant since 1986. either i or my husband go at least once a month or i and a group of work friends dine at this restaurant and everyone is thrilled with the service, speed, all foods, drinks and atmosphere and the owners are very kind.
