In Short – Aspiring artists and bed-headed neighborhood-types can be found discussing the latest indie flick or alt-rock album on the small plant-lined outdoor patio, or browsing through the North African clothing, linens and curtains inside. Best Deal in Town

Everything said below except for one unhappy person in general. The ambiance is great the food so fresh and natural good and the Hot Chocolate best ever .Very european and seems so real not at all staged. Great people watching and they have a lovely little store upstairs with many items one of a kind from all over the world. JUST LOVE IT HERE !

Pros: great feeling and great simple food
Cons: the parking and can get very crowded on weekends

Wonderful

This place is really a great find, stepping into the doors of Casbah you feel like you are transported to a little Moroccan oasis in the heart of Silverlake. The cafe itself is decorated with a mix of French and Moroccan decor, very Casablanca-like. There is always interesting music playing, and this place has amazing salads and coffee and a nice little store upstairs selling Moroccan items.

Amazing tea's, great dessert's. Food is a little pricey. Nice place to escape the hussel and bussel. Beautiful decor and if you can afford it lovely finds in their store.
