The Perfect Salon. Salon Eleven has everything that I was looking for in a salon: a convenient location, friendly people and - most importantly - amazing results. I have to admit, after leaving Salon Eleven, I starting flipping my hair while walking down the street and checking myself out in car windows and neighboring store fronts...I'm sorry, I know...but I've never felt that hot after getting my hair done. It was beyond what I had expected.

I came in for a color and a cut with Jared, who is super nice and willing to give tons of input. You get a lot of dynamic feedback - you give input, he gives input, you respond - that's probably why you look so good at the end of it all. You just have to trust that he knows what he's doing...I was a little apprehensive when I saw him cutting away (who isn't when they see that first cut?), but by the time he was done blowdrying, I had seen the inspiration.

Beyond my hair and Jared's awesomeness, the salon's super chic. It's in Downtown LA, within walking distance of LA Live, and has the same hip LA vibe to it. Check out the artwork on the walls - apparently it comes from local LA artists and swaps out every couple months.
