Citysearch Editorial Review. Located in a 1920s bungalow on the edge of Eagle Rock and Highland Park, this charming shop specializes in a well-curated collection of vintage-style specs. The cozy, atmospheric space features hardwood floors, antique furnishings and quirky collections of everything from shells and cameras to bottles and birdcages--somehow, a perfect backdrop for the cool array of frames. While most frames are new, the styles are distinctively retro, with selections from Salt Optics, Paul Smith, Oliver Peoples, l.a. Eyeworks, Kirk Originals and unique finds from France's Francis Klein. Plenty of sunglasses are in the mix as well, including vintage shades and classics from Ray Ban, Persol and more. Beyond the eyewear, gifts and accessories include everything from locally-made ceramics to beaded dog collars made in Kenya. The breezy shop is friendly and low-pressure, and prescriptions are filled on-site. Did we mention there are cupcakes from Auntie Em's every Saturday?
