This place wasn't bad till I had the misfortune to be there when the new owners/managers came in. Her name is Michelle & she & her husband are paranoid crazy people that attacked a person I was chatting with to accuse them of bad mouthing the place. They made her leave & told me I had to leave because I was talking to her. I was in the middle of a darts game & had a full drink that was paid for & they told me to leave! Maybe people wouldn't bad mouth them if they treated their customers better.

Avoid this place at all costs!

It is true Witches Brew is POO!. All the other reviews say it all. The place stinks of piss, it's empty except for vagrants and there is some really really terrible noise in there. You won't stay more than a minute.

Busty temptress likes your credit card. Witches Brew is a very small place where you have to sit a little too close to the homeless bums that stray in and the bad music is amplified by terrible musicians with rotten voices.

What made me mad is the fact that I offered to pay for one drink for me and my date (because he paid for my drink on a previous date and I wanted to be fair) and to my horror, the busty bartender wanted to keep my credit card as "Open" and looked at my date for approval and to my dismay, he said "yes". She did not want to return my credit card. Who does she think she is. I was being coerced into paying for a 2nd round of drinks by the busty bartender AND my date! So I waited until my date had finished his drink and asked him if he wanted another. He did, so I told the busty bartender to make him one more and close my tab. She took her sweet time in doing it too, and I was embarrassed that I was forced to make her give me a receipt and give my credit card back. I don't need this. I am apalled that men are treated like this daily. A Busty temptress that wants to hold your credit card captive against your will is a prostitute to me. And I don't think I will feel bad for men any more and offer to pay for drinks unless I have cash. As a matter-of-fact, I don't think I will frequent bars again if Busty temptress is an indication of what other bars are like. Witches Brew is exactly the type of place that gives bars a bad name

Nice Pub, Terrible Bands. I love this little pub, it's cozy and has very friendly bartenders, and a young, hip clientele. But their bands are horrible! When I go out, I'm not in the mood for sleepy la la music, I'm in the mood to dance! And their bands really are more fit for an old folk's home. I wish they would just keep the DJ on, it's much better music than their live bands. Think trying to party to Cathrine Wheel or folk music, which I love when I'm driving or cooking at home, but not in a bar!!!
