GREAT place to get a custom sofa

One of the best sofa stores I've ever been to. You know those furniture places where the owner barely speaks English and the selection is either terribly old fashioned or just not interesting? Well, TSC is the opposite :) So needless to say, it was refreshing to walk into the downtown location.

HUGE selection, immediate friednly service and a modern facility all put my husband and I at ease. "ahhh, this is nice" we said. Couch hunting can be stressful! And it still was a little bit, just figuring out all the details and choosing the perfect fabric (I liked all of them)....but the whole experience was pleasant, efficient and worthwhile. Worthwhile, meaning waiting while our fabric was back ordered and deciding on another one which made the wait even longer...and the cost of all our chosen extras- soy foam yay!-....still worth it.

The couch is AMAZING! a big THANK YOU to Christina for all your knowledge and help!

bottom line, it's a perfect place if you want a custom couch. You can get a completely eco friendly couch if you want! However, make sure you have some time to wait for it. (oh and free parking lot- a plus when you live in LA)

Great Sofas

Had a lovely shopping experience. Extremely friendly sales/design consultants and very accommodating to my needs. Good design @ affordable prices.

Definitely worth a visit.

Custom Furniture

I am reporting on my initial purchase experience with the Los Angeles location of The Sofa Company. The store location was the newest addition to the furniture chain, at the time, partially under construction. We were in the market for a contemporary sofa that was customizable to our personal requirements. We were pleased to discover the "Prima" sofa that appeared to adequately met our quality and design needs.

The best part of the shopping experience was the customizable build options. At a nominal price, we were allowed to increase the length of the sofa and decrease the seat depth to better suit our comfort preference. There was a wide selection of fabrics at varying price levels. The sales staff was helpful and pleasant during our initial consultation.

We are hopeful that The Sofa Company delivers on the quality promise. Our sofa is due to be delivered in the next several weeks (the promised build time is 2-5 weeks, based on the level of customization).

lots of choice

Ordered my chaise from SofaCo after searching for a long time. Amazing assortment of choice in fabrics, styles, etc.

Also have options for different budgets. Long lead time though, must be patient.

The ultimate choice!

After searching and visiting many sofa companies looking for a comfortable yet affordable sofa to combine with my husband's lazy chair, we stopped in at the sofa company near downtown. We live in the area and were passing by. Alex welcomed us and offered her help with any questions. After bombarding her with questions and obtaining her professional advice, we customized our sofa to match our home decor and of course, the lazy boy.
