Worst Cable Provider on Earth – I wish I could rate Time Warner in black holes... That's how I see Time Warner in my life, a black hole of despair. Time Warner is THE WORST cable provider I've ever had in my life. It's the only cable available to our complex so we had no choice. I can't wait to move and get rid of it. Our cable internet has NEVER worked properly. Eventually we gave up and now pay $120/month for mobile internet with AT&T Wireless JUST to get rid of Time Warner. Customer service is deplorable. Long, long, long waits on the phone (every other customer must be having a horrible cable experience too). When you do reach a "live" and I use that term loosely, person they have no clue what they're doing, they'll transfer you all over the company before NOT BEING ABLE TO FIX ANY PROBLEMS you may have with your service. Our OnDemand service has never worked, our cable constantly breaks into digital squares... We've had technicians out who ALSO had NO CLUE what they were doing or how to fix the problem. There is NOTHING redeeming about Time Warner. I'm amazed they've stayed in business. I honestly believe they're only successful because they claim "turf' in So Cal that prevents other cable/sat companies from providing their services in those areas. Total rip off. I would advise you go without T.V. rather than get Time Warner.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AVOID AT ALL COST – I rented a new town home in Chatsworth, California. Come to find out the HOA provides basic service through Time Warner Cable. You have to call this company to order the DVR if you want one and any other services like, internet and phone. Sooooo I innocently call them to place the order. . . . OMG 20 minutes on hold.... I'm told I have to be transferred to the "Bulk" Department. I was on hold for an additional 25 minutes when the operator picked up the phone and hung up on me. So I called back. I was on hold again for 22 minutes and It has been yet another 18 minutes and now the operator who picked up the phone now says she is not the right "Bulk" operator, I have to be transferred to another one. So while I was holding I called AT&T on my land line to ask about services. Come to find out they have no lines going into the Town Home complex because TIME WARNER has a monopoly on it. OMG. I'm trapped.
HORRIBLE!!!! – Why can't we give a negative rating? I don't even know how this company functions, no one knows what they are doing and no one can give a straight answer.
