Citysearch Editorial Review. Gone are the industrialized digs that inhabited the former Stork nightclub. Now, this small, plush hideout has a loungey vibe with brown leather couches and low-lit vintage chandeliers. Inside the 1920s-esque bar and lounge, the see and be seen and celeb crowd plays chess on boards strewn on tables, shakes their hips on the upstairs dance floor, and snacks on upscale comfort food. The short list of Californian and American cuisine features options like smoked chicken lettuce wraps, the H.Wood burger (topped with baby arugula, tomato, onion, and swiss cheese on a brioche bun) and sautéed colossal shrimp and salmon.

I know a bunch of these people below don't even do H.Wood they get you to email them then tell you they are doing a much better club and convince you to go there...The team that brought villa Fridays to where it is...Lost Angels with Jack Steven are doing the hottest new Saturday night at H.Wood.

Not interesting. Previously the infamous Stork. Everything about HWood was off from the get go. The location was a terrible idea. The neighbors always complained about noise and most people cant find it..

HWood exposed the biggest flaw with the club scene in LA. If you go to the patio for fresh air, you will have to duke it out with the smokers.

The bar staff are pretty nice if you are a regular like I was otherwise yeaaaa not so much.

This is a big club with a small attitude. I hate the layout, I hate the two floors and the open roof top thats not really open but open enough to let in the rain.

HWood is in desperate need of a refurbishment.
