This chameleon-like space on Los Feliz's hipper-than-thou stretch of Vermont was formerly Cuba Libre and Cuba de Oro, but has repatriated to the land of agave (that is, tequila). Enter the spacious high-ceilinged room punctuated with fountains and potted agave plants and you’re immediately struck with an underlit bar fronting a massive 200-plus wall of tequila. Leatherbound tequila tomes offer agave history dating back to 1600 and varieties ranging from silver to extra anejo to mescal (worm optional.) Find tequila shots, flights, infused tequilas, 11 artisan margaritas like the Serrano…
So many Tequila so little time

A great surprise this place showed up in the neighborhood. Tequila is like wine and should be treated as such. Great selection and atmosphere.
- Pros: Selection
The worst Service ever
by frog1080 at Citysearch
My waitress took 5 - 8 minutes to acknowledge us, and then overheard our order being put in 10 minutes later after drink order. Only when asking for another waitress to help us we received our drinks (21 minutes later). Then ordered food in which our new waitress then mentioned we had already ordered and we had not. We asked to switch waitress and it was not much better. 1 hour and 10 minutes after ordering first drink, our food arrived. I then felt sick, and only offered one drink in one hour of being here. Meat tasted foul, and only four pieces of meat (two per skewer). As a cook I know to add three pieces of meat per skewer no matter what (even number is bad luck). New place. Horrible service. Food Horrible. Never eat here
- Pros: Guacamole
- Cons: Service, Ignored, sour meat
