great upscalefeeling place, very nice outdoor mall, good shopping, great movie theater, great food, much fun grove, great retail stores

I'm not much for shopping while on vacation, it takes time and funds away from eating, but a stroll around The Grove is sort of par for the LA tourist course. I didn't see any big celebrities, but I did see one of the Extra hosts surreptitiously sniffing under her arms before she went on camera, so that was exciting, I suppose. If you're actually going to shop, stop at the Taschen store, it's the best one.

A Small Town USA vibe with a Hollywood twist, this retail Mecca seems to see more high-end shops (and clients who can afford them) by the day.
great vibe. I love this place, its always so much fun and its always a great day or night out, great restaurants and chill atmosphere. Its highly recommended.
good and pleasant.
I like going to the theater here and shopping and couple of drinks. It is greatest during week ; weekends is packed.
small a bit but not too bad
Feel good place. The Grove is the 5th most beautiful shopping center in the world, I just can't imagine what the first four look like. The Grove has a very pleasant atmosphere, relaxing, happy, friendly, and inviting. The Cheese Factory has the best food, the Farmer Market is adorable, Nordstrom is as good as it comes, and there's always live entertainment, and the weather is always great at the Grove..... must see, at night it's beautiful. P.S. the weekend are packed.
GREAT. great shops, great food, great drinks and great prices, and great weather,, do i need to go on?
Love the Grove.
Love the Grove... To eat there the best options are Morels, the Farm, Woodranch and Monsieur Marcel.
The people who work at Crate and Barrel are usually super nice and helpful. I would add a Restoration Hardware and a Godiva store and it would be heaven.
this place is great. I've come here a few times and really love walking around. especially the outdoor market. at night everything is lit up and looks like a wonderland. very cool to stroll around with a coffee and watch people. you should also go at night to the top level of the parking structure - the view is amazing!
So nice to stroll here. I recently took a business trip to LA and was told that if I had some time, I should have a look at the Grove. London eat your heart out! Beautiful shops and such a great atmosphere and not an umbrella in sight! Yes, a few shopping bags made their way back to my hotel room too!
Love it!.
The Grove is a great outdoor mall. We love going there when my family is visiting us from Europe, especially around christmas time. The stores and streets are nicely decorated, the huge Christmas tree is gorgeous and the lights, Santa Claus and the snow just make the experience even better for young kids!
They have a great selection of stores (Banana Republic, Pottery Barn Kids, Apple Store, Crate and Barrel, Nordstrom, Sur La Table, Gap, Lucky Brand, Abercrombie & Fitch, Barneys CO-OP...) and restaurants we like to go to (Wood Ranch Grill, Maggiano's, Morels Bistro).
The trolley and fountain are also a big hit with my 4 year old son.
It does get crowded especially during the weekends but the parking garage is huge and tells you how many spots are left on each floor. With the Loyalty Reward Program you get complimentary valet parking for the day when you spend $250 during one visit.
Great bonus: it's right next to the popular LA Farmer's Market!
