Hotel Erwin’s rooftop cocktail bar serves handcrafted cocktails, artisan beers, wine and light appetizers in an open-air lounge setting with close to 360 degree views of Los Angeles, from Muscle Beach to Downtown L.A.That’s a far cry from the joint’s days as the Marina Pacific Hotel, when there was no access to this top of the hub. People-watching fans will feel like they have hit the jackpot, tourists will enjoy primo ocean and city vistas and no-fuss locals will appreciate the lack of a pretentious velvet rope situation.

Amazing Views, Fresh & Vibrant Drinks!

When it comes to relaxation time, you have to plan ahead. Check out their light brunch specials which are normally on Sundays between 11 and 3pm (call to confirm). Bring your cutest and most comfortable summer clothes together with a positive attitude. I loved this place, and can't wait for our cold days to be over. Would recommend to anyone! Enjoy!

Great Date Place, Nice Views, Expensive Drinks

This is a great location on Venice Beach with spectacular views. The roof top deck is a nice addition to this remodeled hotel. It is a perfect place to watch the sun set and a good place for a date. However, it really is a one drink place as drinks are super expensive especially for what you get. The same with the appetizers. There are no happy hour specials. We were automatically charged 18% gratuity. Don't get me wrong, I am certainly not adverse to tipping and usually tip very well but this was quite a surprise. Most importantly, we were not told about this ahead of time. I am assuming they do this because a lot of tourists from other countries will probably stay at this hotel but this was a big turn off to my friends and I. There is no main area to hang out by a bar; you have to be seated in tables which are in groups and blocked off from other tables.
