Waxing is So Yesterday. If you've been waxing, then you definitely want to experience the differences sugaring can offer you. You can have your body hair 'sugared' even if you have shaved in the last few days. You could never do that with waxing. Waxing can also be unsanitary if the salon/spa is double-dipping (and most of them are, to cut corners). There is no possibility of cross contamination with sugaring since they use one ball of sugar for each person, and then discard it afterwards. The biggest difference, is that your skin will be soft, smooth and satiny. No more red bumps and ingrowns. Danielle did my Brazilian wax; and it was the first time it turned out right and lasted the longest. I have gone to other places for Brazilian waxing and a lot of times they don't get all the hair, and I am always left with irritation, red bumps and ingrown hairs. This is a particularly awkward hair removal service to begin with. However, these people made me feel totally comfortable and they will do the same for you!!!

Sugaring is much better than waxing!. My teenage daughter and I have gone to Studio Alexandria twice since their opening in early September. Lina, the owner, has done our sugaring both times. The process is much less painful than waxing, and it is also more environmental, more sanitary and doesn't rip your skin off along with the unwanted hair.

They also offer a line of products. We've purchased two items so far, and my daughter really likes them. I haven't really tried them myself.

If you don't like shaving, and you've tried waxing, then I urge you to try sugaring. I think you'll be very pleased.

Best in LA. Studio Alexandria is the BEST hair removal salon I've ever been to! Hair removal is quick, *relatively* painless, and leaves your skin feeling softer than ever.

Everyone who works there is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. Their products are all natural, paraben free...and they actually work!

I am hooked!
