Citysearch Editorial Review. This Melrose mini-mall’s chic boutique welcomes the wine-curious. Lamps like giant abstract grapes hang over the spacious room framed in black walnut racks offering more than 450 selections, ranging from low-priced deals to, well, really expensive wines. The focus is on small production and artisan wines, both domestic and foreign. The entire inventory is curated by owner Jill Bernheimer, who created Domaine547.com, a website that includes a shop, forum and newsletter dedicated to exploring wine. The shop’s central “living room” lets guests browse books on oneology, and a computer kiosk has over 100 wine-focused sites bookmarked so buyers can research scores and other feedback on each selection. Melrose locals enjoy shopping in the relaxed atmosphere, and the sales people are friendly and knowledgeable.
