The Owner (not Jon) is hard of hearing. – With tickets , meal, and parking my investment for the 3 of us was 150 dollars for what was an hour. We love you Jon, but you have to take control of your club. 1.First the website said seating was first come first serve. It was not. The second we got in we were funneled by the manager into some weird seating arrangement that had you sitting across from strangers at a long table. Not the people you came with .If you like having to twist yourself around to watch the stage, it would be great. Sadly the contortionists convention only comes here once a year. 2. Sitting in the booths was an extra charge of 18% on your bill, again not listed on the site. This is not like any comedy club I've ever been to. 3.Not enough servers. Ours did multiple floors and were totally stretched. We could place only two orders during the show and we got inline at 7. 4. From our and many other peoples vantage point you had a microphone and synth, covering your face. Why was the bands equipment ( that was playing at 12 midnight) on stage at all. It ruined the format, we were there to see you. Push it to the back of the stage where it wont interfere with your audience seeing you. It is really upsetting. Why were weather were we even here when we could just listen to the podcast. 5, Now I didn't mind the format but it was too short. You did terrific, we laughed, we listened but I think people thought you were going to do standup. This is to owner James . Dear James, 1. I don't care how long that manager has run it, it is terrible. Poorly arranged, amateurish. That you exist at all after what I have seen is beyond me but I will bet it is Jon's draw, not a thing due to the managers handling of the club. I certainly wont be back as you seem to be in deep denial. 2. Oh yes , the seating is arranged for maximum occupancy but not for any "fire marshals rules". Feel free to point out LAFDP rules that say that tables must be arranged this way when no other comedy club in LA does. Exiting out the long rows you have set are MORE dangerous, not less. On top of which half your audience has to turn around and THERE ISN'T ROOM! 3. Oh please, are you so underpaying your staff that you are claiming it is for there benefit ?! 3 SHOWS IN ONE EVENING?! How do all the other clubs do ONE OR TWO SHOWS MAX !? You cut a show we paid 20 at the door with a 2 drink minimum to an hour! 4.I don't care if you don't normally have synths and such on stage, they ruined the show for many of us watching! Is this the best you can do"? Make excuses for what is a completely unacceptable presentation? I DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR LATER SHOWS I CARE ABOUT THE ONE I PAID FOR AND THAT WAS UNACCEPTABLE! You can't even see the person you came to see ! And no, we were not afforded to see the Craig UNLESS WE PAID! AND YOU ALREADY RIPPED US OFF FOR AN HOUR OF THE SHOW WE CAME TO SEE, WHY WOULD WE STAY??!!!! Well now people know that for no reason at all you will cut the show they paid for in half. 5.No of course I never saw your disclaimer, no one has, it's hidden. "All shows are subject to change without notice" does not mean that you get to rip us off for what we paid for. Enjoy the money. I wouldn't give you another dime. You aren't listening at all . Just so you have an idea what it looked like , this is what we saw, www.tinybun*com/lovitz.jpg It requires no more explanation than that

Citysearch Editorial Review – Universal City Walk visitors will get a kick out of this triple-floor comedy club located in the entertainment center's top level. As novice and pro stand-up comedians take the stage in this faux-tropical scene, guests clad in casual garb cheer between bites of calamari, spinach-artichoke dip and garlic French fries. For those staying for more than just a one-act show, hardcore cocktails are paired with mango chicken, fish & chips, and coconut shrimp. Typically this is on Wednesday nights, when former "Saturday Night Live" star Jon Lovitz rallies fans on stage.
Hi-larious – Great place to have a soiree and laugh your stress away!
