scallops & ribeye!!!!! MMMmmmmm!. On our way to Saint Amor and got intrigued by Meet! Had to give it a shot and it was suprisingly wonderful. The food, service and atmosphere were slow and peaceful, had a very relaxing dinner and watched the kitchen execute plates for the restaurant from our window table, vewry cool.

New Owners New Name New !!!. Meet Replaced Hermitage Bistro. My girlfriend and I almost didn't go in until we found out that it was new owners. Hermitage was OK but the owner didn't seem to care about our experience at. Not the same with the new owners...form the very beginning the food was great...not to heavy, not too ligh...and the the service was what we didn't expect, which was as good as the food. If you were turned off by Hermitage Bistro or it was your favorite, you will not go wrong going to Meet.

Hermitage is Closed replaced by MEET. What used to be Hermitage is now called MEET. For only being open four weeks, we were very impressed with the food, the service. The prices were very reasonable and with wine, an appetizer, two entrees and dessert, it coust us just under a hundred dollars, which in LA is very reasonable, especially when you leave satisfied. It's quaint, so don't expect not to hear your neighbor's conversation, but the rest makes up for it. I highly recommend this place and I'm wishing this local gem to succeed in these hard financial times. It's a good one, would love to see it stay around for a long time. PS, management is fantastic, the owner makes sure you are happy or he goes out of his way to do so. We will be back and we will be spreading the word around to our friends to visit

BEST FRENCH BISTRO IN TOWN. This is my favorite restaurant in the area. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, but very pleasant, and the service is consistently the best I have at any restaurant in LA.

I went there 2 days ago and I had not been to Bistro de l'Hermitage for ahwile, and I am glad to say that it is as wonderful as I remembered. the sauteed lamb remains my favorite dish anywhere and the chocolate ganache cake with strawberry sauce is just delicious !

This place is really good and the prices aren't outrageous like at other French restaurants.

Bad service, MEDIOCRE FOOD. I called to see if reservations were needed on a satuday night, the person that answered the phone ( the owner )urged me to make a reservation, he said that saturday night was a busy night so i made one my bf and I got there the place was empty, our server had a hard time understanding our order he had a hard time expressing him self in english I think he only spoke spanish, wine tasted like vinegar, beets on the salad came from a can and not from the farmers market like they tell you. I saw the cook putting some frozen fish in water!!!! and the have a microwave. frozen food fish for $$$25.00 this place odd to Close its doors for ever

save your money for a decent dinner somewhere else next to them is le saint amour a true FRENCH RESTAURANT I will definately not be back are you? I had to give them a star...

Love this place!. Love this place. The food is consistently good and the service warm and friendly. Feels like I'm in France. My favorites are the endive salad (something a lot of restaurants offer, but the walnuts here of coated with honey and the dressing is yummy) and the Moqueca Shrimp. Recommend sitting on the patio as the chairs out there are more comfy than the chairs inside.

Terrible Place!!. I took my girlfriend to this place after a movie , I was there a few years ago, i tought we should try it again. it was 9:30 they only had 2 tables outside the waiter came to take our drink order, and coming from the movies we just wanted water to start, Big mistake the waiter's attitude changed completely. he gave us a nasty look( we should of left then ) we ordered a cup of french onion soup that we were assured it was vegan. My girlfriend who is a chef knew right away that there was beef stock in the soup. We aked the waiter to check with the chef, he said that he was certain that no stock was added to anything.. i ordered trout, arrived over cooked, my girlfriend got the Veal liver ( over cooked served with a watered boring sause), both of our entrees got served with this soggy veggies, mostly likely leftovers from the lunch service. the wine was sub par. the waiter dropped our food to the table and never came back to check if everything was ok. he was busy on the phone in the restaurant. all this with only 2 tables seated outside. Dinner for 2 80.00 without tips Well t is my mistake for choosing to dine at this place. Avoid-Avoid-Avoid...
