Giving it 5 because of Will! MONA was AWESOME ;). The only name you need to know is MONA!

If I could give this joint 10 stars I'd double that and make it 20 and put. By far the best haircut I've had in a long time.

I'm really picky when it comes to my hair so when I made an appointment at Angnus salon, I was slightly nervous. Truth be told, the main reason I went here was the good deal on Groupon and I'm really glad I did, because I definitely needed a haircut with a new style.

She is so professional and sweet and satisfies all of your personal wants and needs while still putting her own signature touches to the style. The best part is that she really goes above and beyond to make you feel special and she takes the time to really perfect the look. She is an ARTIST.

I can't wait to start telling all my friends again about MONA and my new professional hairstylist.

Finally found a stylist that I can trust!. Honestly if I could give this place 6 stars, I would :-)

Ever since I moved to LA, it's been extremely difficult to find a good place to get my hair cut. So many people pass off crappy, lopsided haircuts as "stylish" or "the new thing." New thing my ass. I want to look good, not like I got attacked by a lawnmower! So my hair's been getting shaggier and shaggier out of fear of someone screwing it up.

Then came Mona. Beautiful, patient Mona. She is as genuine as she is knowledgeable. She told me about hair types and kicks and all kinds of stuff I had never even heard of. It's like she's a magical hair doctor from God.

Needless to say, I will ONLY be going here from now on. I can finally say I have someone who cuts my hair in LA!

Angus M Salon. I really, really wanted to like this place. Even though I do not want to be the person to give this place a one-star, I have to warn you guys and share my awful experience.

I made an appointment to get a cut with Mona since some of reviews from different websites are about how good she is (I would have to strongly disagree). I was very excited because I was going to get my hair cut in "Beverly Hills".

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a nice smile, so I thought that was a good start. I was having mixed feelings as Mona was cutting my hair since she did not look like she was not cutting the way that I had described to her, but I trusted her! Now I wonder if she even knows how to cut hair properly. To make the story short, the cut turned out to be the worst I had ever gotten. She cut it too short, way shorter than I had requested. If that was the only problem, then I would have been fine with it, but it is not even on both sides (lopsided!). It is awful, to a point where I went to trim my bangs at another place and the stylists at that place asked me why my hair dresser cut my hair the way they did! I had been going to this other place to trim my bangs a few times and this is the only time that they were surprised to see my awful hair cut. Don't worry....I got my hair fixed already.

The other weird and very unprofessional behavior was that the whole time she was cutting my hair and talking to me, she was just looking at herself in the mirror and talking instead of looking at me through the mirror. She probably made eye contact with me 3 or 4 times.

If you really wanted to try this place, I would suggest you pick another stylist because I really don't want anybody to have to go through what I went through.

The whole experience was such a disappointment.

great envioronment. great feeling as you go throughout this salon, starting with the front desk, your greeted with a warm smile and they all make you feel oh so comfortable, I had a gal named Cori for my cut and a week later I came back and got a color, a fabulous blow dry and a great experience from a guy named Vasi. Both stylists are very knowledgeable in every aspect. They answered any questions I had without any hesitation, I will be returning here soon! Thank you!

oooo la la. Me = very picky person... my hair stylist I am sure for the first 10 minutes was like get this ***** out of my chair but he worked with me and let me tell you, I have never left a salon more satisfied..

within 20 minutes I knew this dude knew his stuff. I left with amazing highlight and a cut that I swear when Im walking down the street after I left here heads were turning left and right...

You have to come here and see Vasi, that was my stylist......... Words can't describe the experience with him, you have to come in and check it out for yourself!!!!

Nothing Compares !. This HAS to be the BEST salon with the most friendly & experienced staff.

Very happy with my colour and cut and will recomend this salon to anyone. You wont be dissapointed.

you have to check this salon out. My experience here at the Angus m salon, was absolutely stunning. I came in not having any idea what I wanted to do with my hair but a friend of mine I work with recommended that I go see this guy who she just would not shut up about... I left this salon with a stylish new cut, and a completely new color... I went from all platinum to a nice rich brown color... By the the best salon I have every been to and they will continue to receive my business.. And let me tell you my stylist, made me feel so comfortable, but he was not pushy in any way like some of these bigger name salons can be now a days... but yes you neeeeed to go here, and see the stylist I saw... ... I cant remember his name exactly but I believe it started with a V, or some strange name but he was absolutely amazing, he was taller, wore a hat... just go check him out ... and he is pretty attractive.... :)!!!!!!!!!!
