Great food. Very good food at reasonable prices. The restaurant has a "clubby vibe ", good for romantic dates !

Good place for a drink. This is a great spot to swing by and grab a drink and an appetizer if you are hanging around near the promenade. However, I wouldn't really recommend this place for dinner unless you aren't very hungry. The food is typically good, but meant to be more snacks than meals.

Citysearch Editorial Review. This Santa Monica gastropub known for its upscale comfort food opened its doors in the spring of 2008. Since then, the popular Promenade-adjacent spot has brought in an updated menu along with season three"Top Chef" competitor Chris "CJ" Jacobson. Along with American-style tapas like warm duck confit salad, wild mushroom risotto, and smoked bacon and cheddar sliders, Jacobson offers plates of fish tacos with cumin slaw, pan-seared diver scallops with mandarin and pulled pork sloppy joe sliders topped with crispy onions. Patrons wash it all down with glasses of cupcake chardonnay, blood orange martinis and a choice of 30 types of bottled beers.

Best Gastro Pub in LA!!. With Top Chef CJ cooking....nothing is better!! The menu has transformed into a gourmet experience without loosing touch with the "common" ppl!! I love hanging out here.

Amazing Food and Drink Selections!. I've been to this restaurant a few times and haven't had a bad experience so far. They serve typical bar food, but with a gourmet twist which is pretty cool. The chef is CJ from Top Chef and it looks like he's been doing a pretty good job so far. The burger there is to die for. I think it might be one of the best in town. I love the beer and wine selections. Some of the beers I've never seen before so I attempt to try a new one everytime I go. Definitely recommend checking it out.
