Bad News!!!! Movers would disappear in the truck and act alive when you walked in on them. Used another company for the same move 6 mos. earlier. ...took 3 hours. They took 6+ hours. When I offered a credit card ....he told me it would be a 15% surcharge. I told him no one charges 15%. I have a business and merchant processing fees are usually included. Their actual fees are 2.75% to 4%. He then suggested 5% which I agreed to. The process took nearly 30 minutes!!!! I am not exaggerating. After we agreed on a fair, realistic charge. He asked me to unpack items because he wanted the boxes (2) back. He then persisted in asking for a tip. He took smoking breaks telling me that he had to charge the battery of his truck. I left for the new location the same time as they did. We stopped for gas and made a quick market stop. We got to our new home location and waited 45 minutes. He told me there was a lot of traffic and that they normally charge twice for travel time. I could write for ever.... If you are looking for a bad experience that takes up a great deal of time...Then this is the place to call!!

LA Moving inc are beyond awesome. They moved me on December 15, 2012 from Sherman Oaks, CA to Woodland Hills, CA. The guys were courteous, truthful, and efficient and everything a moving company should be. I had a positive experience. The truck showed up on time. Nothing was broken. When they say "no additional fees" they mean it! I definitely recommend these guys!

SCAM MOVERS - LOST MY STUFF - please read. I want to punch the computer writing this because it brings up such feelings of hatred I can't even put it into words. If a Russian guy named "steve" calls you, STAY AWAY, trust me.

If you fill out a "price quote" thing on the internet, DO NOT use them!!!! they're rates were extremely low, so i picked them to move me from LA to CA. they said it would take 2-3 weeks, and a flat fee of 1600.

They asked for half the cash up front, and it took them 6 weeks to get to my house. When they finally did get here, HALF OF THE STUFF WAS MISSING. while they were unloading the truck, they had me stand outside of the truck and have me tell them what was mine and what wasn't.

THEY LOST ALL OF MY CLOTHES, KITCHEN STUFF, ELECTRONICS, AND MY 1200 BIKE!!!!!!! just lost it. they have no idea. and the stuff they did deliver was broken (bed broken, plastic containers broken". they told me when i pointed it out, that, and i quote "it's on a truck, things break". they then asked me for a tip. ha!!!!

i probably have rights your thinking? Wrong. They checked the box on the form stating I wanted the insurance that pays 60 cents / pound for stuff damaged or lost. basically they scammed me out of all of my belongings, and they are offering me $150 dollars insurance money for it (probably lost 10-15K in stuff).

So, i am now going to pursue a lawsuit, and do everything and anything in my power to shut this business down. I do have the guy's name, number, and address. perhaps I will take another route as well.....

Please message me if you want more details. I can't believe a place like this exists.

Worst Customer Service, Most Aggravating Move. My dealings with LA moving inc. amounted to the worst customer service and most aggravating move I've experienced. Nick was one of my movers and he was terribly unprofessional and rude. He demanded cash upon pick up, despite the fact that that was not in the conditions of the written confirmation. In fact, Steve in the office had told me that they accepted credit cards, but Nick told me that Steve didn't have any idea of what he was doing. When I offered to honor the written agreement alternatively and pay, instead, by personal check, he threw a tantrum, saying: "This is why I hate dealing with people in LA; they don't trust anyone! I don't work like this!" He then threatened to unload all of my boxes from the truck and return them to the apartment that I was moving out of. In the midst of this emergency, I could not get Steve in the office on the phone, while Nick could. Nick changed his tune and begrudgingly carried on with my move, perhaps because the written agreement did not support his demand. Nick arrived to my destination over 3 hours after I did and with the same poor attitude. I finally got a hold of Steve (he hadn't returned my voice-mails from that morning) and Steve told me that Nick would accept credit card but needed part of the payment in cash because he had forgotten money for gas. I'll save you the rest of my aggravation and summarize by recommending that you -not- hire these guys.

LA moving inc. I hired this company to move my house. My house was burglarised that same night. Everything points out to the movers. They have avoided to speak with the private investigators in regards to the burglary. If you plan to use them..beware...They seem to have a scam...

I bought the movers drinks, lunch and diner..and on top of that gave them a $200 tip.

Of course, it is hard to prove..but, as I said..everything points out to them...even the police said that, after they came by the house and looked at the evidences...Just beware...

I am satisfied with LA Moving Inc very much. I had such a great experience with LA Moving Inc, and the team that move with my furniture and belongings from LA to San Diego. They did such a wonderful job:

1.With very reasonable flat rate, no any other charge.

2.Very carefully and professionally packaged my furniture.

3.Unpackaged and upload all stuffs at destination fully foolowed the floor plan I gave to them—I was not there.

4.The destination resident manager who worked there for many years at told me later that the team is the best she has ever seen.

Anyway, so many thanks to the team moving my LA moving Inc especially the team moved my belongings.

Do not ever use these morons.. Do not ever use these morons. They claim to do moves in San Francisco and quoted me a flat rate to move a stove I bought from the East Bay to the city. We scheduled the move for 10AM. I arranged with the seller to be present and, being a nice guy, he was; I gave his phone number to LA Moving so he could guide them to his place. Around noon, I called the seller to find out how the move went. LA Moving was a no show. Called them to find out what was going on and after some back and forth, the moron on the truck called to say he had called the guy at the pickup address and had gotten no answer. Dodo head did not think to call me, who, by the way, was paying for this exercise. Aforementioned Dodo said he would reschedule for the afternoon and claimed to have confirmed with the stove seller that 2:30 would be the new time. 2:30 turned to 4PM, and once again, no show, no call. So I called LA Moving. Bozo there said the move would absolutely be done that day. You can guess the rest. No move, no call, no nothing. Moral of the story: if you want it done right, don't call these fools. They are incompetent. They cannot use telephones. They lie. They are stupid. They wasted my entire day, as well as most of the day of the seller. Avoid them like the plague.

These guys delivered above and beyond expectations. These guys were awesome! They made my move from LA to Vegas smooth, seamless and stress free. After researching several bids I was somewhat leary because their bid was much, much lower than the others. Needless to say I did not have to sacrafice quality for cost. They brought their A game. They even through in an extra mover at no extra charge to ensure that I met my timeline of arrival to Vegas.

They wrapped everything (and I do mean everything) and made sure that my items were secured and protected. I can't say enough about the quality of their work.

Highly recommended. My move with LA Moving Company was handled with competence and incredibly hard work. They were very careful with my furniture. Guys wrapped each breakable item before putting it in the truck. They showed up on time in both places, and by the way as we had hardwood floor at the new place the movers were very cautious not to leave a scratch while placing the furniture which was very professional. And they didn't charge extra for packing supply or stairs only hourly rate, and I should notice it was less than other companies offer. I highly recommend these guys to anybody who is planning to move soon, you'll get a very positive experience.

Worst moving company ever. I had one of the worst experience with this company

first they didn't come on time, they came at the time they wanted, it was supposed to be at 9:30 am and they came at 8:30 when i explicitly told them to come at 9:30 to 10 with 3 days of anticipation and comfirmed that 2 times by phone, then they came with this super rude attitude like if they were making you a favor and not being payed for it, they destroyed my furniture and the guy on charge was so cinical to tell my wife that the were not able to put the furniture inside the apartment because the door was too narrow and without even try.

after an argument the other guy was "smart enough" to roll over the furniture and pass it through the door, the guy on charge was even more rude judging my belongings (a desk specially) as a junk and told to my wife that he wont going to be responsible for what could happen to it because it was just trash, and of course it wasn't in perfect shape but it had a real sentimental value to me, anyway the guy managed to destroy it completely.

if you really value your stuff never use this company to move, they will mistreat your belongings and it will be a terrible nightmare to deal with
