What People Are Saying About Fuego at Hotel Maya

Its name might mean "hot" in Spanish, but this expansive and festive waterfront dining destination is totally cool. Highlighting coastal Mexican and Latin American cuisine from acclaimed chef Jesse Perez, the indoor/outdoor eatery serves breakfast, lunch and dinner against a backdrop of waterfront views, downtown Long Beach and the Queen Mary. Hotel guests (and hungry locals) are welcome to dine inside the resort-like space or alfresco on the patio deck for fresh mariscos (seafood) and gourmet, seasonal twists on classic south-of-the-border dishes like cilantro-jalapeno skirt steak asada…

Fuego's I Love It!
by DeeDeeEats
Fuego's is out of the box fabulous for the grown and sexy. My husband took me there and I was so impressed the perfect getaway for the evening it was so romantic. We loved it so much we took our friends for the Sunday brunch and they were so happy and appreciative we sat outside and the view was breath taking. Now our secret is no longer a secret but that's okay the word is spreading an my friends are happy.
Sincerely,

Awful upscale Latin restaurant

worst service I can remember. Wrong appetizers, wrong drinks, never received entrees. Not one apology! The view is not worth such horrible service. What food we did receive was fair, nothing special. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.
- Pros: great view
- Cons: terrible service!
