Tips for Samba Brazilian Steakhouse & Lounge

Good service, horrible food. The salad bar is average. The meat, for anyone who has an idea of what it should taste like at a churrascaria, was atrocious.

Best Brazilian Steakhouse & Lounge Ever. Me and my wife had a party of 300 and when we called to reserve the 3rd floor and mezz a young girl answerd the phone very politely. When we got to SAMBA the day of our party the owner was at the door and greeted us our family and friends loved all the meats and dancers. There was a DJ upstairs and a wonderful outdoor patio. Service at Samba was woderful a few days after our party Samba called us and asked us if we enjoyed the service and food. Over all i would rate this the best Brazilian Steakhouse & Lounge in California. We went back to the resturaunt in Redondo Beach after our party in the location in Universal City Walk.

Really Enjoy The Food!!. I enjoy their food here. I don't know if it's also the same chef cooking as the one in Top Chef this season, but at least I like the super fast way they get the food out to you, without feeling hurried. More accurately, I think I should say that the food comes out in successions, at the perfect timing.

Bad food all around. Meat is very low quality, 75-80% was tough not because it was over cooked. Every piece had gristle going though it. The cook said the best cut of meat he had was top round. Wow and to charge you $38 +18% tip + 10% tax and watered down drinks for $12. What a rip off. DO NOT go and get ripped off. The dancers don't even dance to the music correctly. They just shake their booty. An insult to Brazilian's. What a waste of money.

Thrown out of Restaurant for $350.00. Our family went there on New Years Eve, and upon arrival were told that the dinner that evening would be $60.00 a person (no mention of this when reservation was made) The menu was exactly the same as it is everyday for this price too. The waitress was aloof, service was poor, meat was tasteless and salad bar was sub-standard. After dinner, as we were having coffee with dessert, the waitress approached us and advised us that the manager was very upset, because there is a two hour minimum for a customer to be in the restaurant and told us we had to leave. I spoke to the manager and she said that was the policy, (keep in mind, there was not one single customer waiting to be seated) This restaurant is over-rated and on New Years Eve, they had a total of three dancers. What a rip-off, I would never recommend this place to anyone. Go to Fogo De Chao if you want good quality meat and service.

Salty food, rice & beans for $75!. So we went there on a Sunday expecting to eat delicious meat. yes, the come around often to offer meat but it seems that every single one was sooo salty. The sides are self serve, but there's only a choice between rice, beans, and some burned potatoes. Cold salads were ok. After not really enjoying the meal, our bill came $75 for 2 people!!! Would never go there again.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Wafting scents of the Churrasco brunch bar packed with all-you-can-eat charred meat, black beans and rice fill the restaurant as guests head to the buffet line to feast and grab "all you can drink" mimosas and champagne. Weeknight dinner patrons indulge inside this colorful, scarlet-lit Brazilian steakhouse and lounge, snacking on Goiobada pork ribs (grilled pork ribs in guava sauce) coconut shrimp and Peruvian ceviche before main events hit the table. VIP patrons kick back in an upstairs lounge, dining on plates of duck larange, grilled lobster with sides of mashed yucca and a Brazilian twist on mac and cheese. There is also an unlimited champagne buffet brunch on Sundays for $28.

Delicious Brazilian BBQ. Love the fresh grilled meat concept, especially served tableside immediately. It keeps coming unitl you're ready to explode! So good that stopping is difficult. Has a great salad bar too, lots of delicious and great sides. Not your typical wilted lettuce, bacon bits and chopped eggs!!! Lots of exotic grilled veggies, cheeses, mixed salads and even smoked salmon. Trying one of their unique Caiprinhas is a must, they have the only Caiprinha bar in LA I was told. The blood orange one was delicious! If you're in the mood for some real fun, great food and something different, this is your place. You won't be sorry!

Love the meats, love the dancers!. I went there on Friday night and felt in love with this place. The decor is very festive yet modern, the food is delicious and the idea of all you can eat meats speaks for itself. All you do is grab whatever you wanted from the buffet and they will bring you tons of meat to try. I loved the fact that we could seat back and enjoy the meal rather than trying to figure out what to eat and compose our own dinner. I also liked the entertainment they have. We have seen 3 beautiful dancers dancing Samba in the middle of the restaurant. You feel like you flew for few minutes to Brazil to see carnival. This place is great!
