Here you can lounge over breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner and enjoy sunny, sweeping views and the same beguiling décor of the main restaurant--pale pink and blue leather seats, distressed country wood, and quirky monkey-print wallpaper. The crowd is fun too, with a mix of stylish younger hotel guests and hipper, well-heeled Sunset Strip locals creating a social buzz. The contemporary menu includes a savory roasted corn tortilla soup and delicate hamachi carpaccio offset with almonds and citrus. Organic spinach salad gets a tropical lift tossed with shrimp, scallops, avocado and mango, and sake miso-marinated Pacific black cod melts like butter on the tongue. For dessert don’t miss the crisp thin apple tart with a superb fennel ice cream.
