As a Belgian, I'm picky about beers and I was thoroughly impressed by they're selection. Bartenders are also really knowledgeable when you don't know which beer to chose from.

Great little neighborhood watering hole. Full bar, but craft beer is the specialty. Front patio is caged in, making larger side space nicer.

Amazing Beer Great Music Wonderful Vibes. Best beer in the neighborhood. Pricing on drinks is kind of unbelievably low. So many great little corners in this place to hide out for some conversation. Perfect spot for Westsiders and Eastsiders to meet half way. You can even bring in your own food from Baby Blues BBQ!

Surly Goat is Surely Good. You probably wouldn’t expect one of the best beer bars to be located right in the heart of Weho, but that’s exactly where you can find the Surly Goat. Opened by the same guy behind Verdugo, Surly Goat has almost 30 beers on tap. With that sort of selection, you might need some help deciding but worry not because everyone on staff is fully educated in the craft of beer. Good for groups looking for a casual night out.

With 27 beers on taps (featuring hard-to-find beers from all over America and the world), co-owner Ryan Sweeney (who also co-owns beloved Eastside bar Verdugo) has found a winning formula to replace what was once a cheesy "ultra lounge." Gone are the gold-painted walls and fake tans here--instead, imagine comfortable bar stools, booths and even a Ms. Pac-Man game in the back. In short, Surly Goat is an inviting bar for beer aficionados, minus the pretension. The only downside to this casual hangout is the lack of any food options. We say, drink your dinner instead (try a hearty Belgian ale or three).
