brazilian wax. the studio is at a convenient location in santa monica walking distance from my hotel. i am from houston and walked in to Studio 1452 for a cut but my stylist Nicole recommended the brazilian was. my hair texture is very course and gets very frizzy.

The process did not take too long and needless to say i am so happy that i did it. It wasn't flat and gave my still the body i wanted left in my hair.

Even thought I am from Houston, I will definitely be back!

Great hair salon. 5 star!! beautiful atmosphere and friendly people! My stylist (Nicole) is the most well informed stylist I've ever had! my hair has never been this healthy and the color has never looked so good. if you want gorgeous hair, check out Studio 1452!!!

Studio 1452 Hair Salon. First of all, I am super picky about my hair. I have short, fine hair and it is so difficult to find someone who is cutting edge and can really texture short hair. I go to Billy....he is amazing! He hooks you up with great reads and great mocha cappucinno's while he works on you. I love the convenience of the Promenade but I typically hate the nightmare parking and snotty attitudes of salons in Santa Monica. This one is so different....no crazy music.....serene and gorgeous with all exposed brick walls, a super friendly staff, and only three stylists so its never over crowded. A must go!

New to this salon - good experience so far. Billy at Studio 1452 is a great all-around hair stylist. I followed him to this salon because he's done such a great job. He's honest, straightforward and extremely talented!

Best salon ever!. I've been going to Cherrie for almost a year now, and I just love her and the salon. Cherrie has given me the most amazing cuts and highlights and my hair has never looked better. I get compliments all the time, and my mom recently said to me that I've found my look. I also just got a Brazilian Blowout and I can't believe that I've lived without it all these years. The salon is in an amazing space and the staff couldn't be friendlier! They also get things that aren't available elsewhere because they're a test market. I'm in love with their New Blonde product - it makes my highlights look better and last longer. Go see Cherrie - you won't be disappointed!

Request Billy for cuts & color. I had a great experience at Studio 1452. I went to Billy who always does a very thorough consultation and makes sure he understands exactly what I want, even though I've gone to him before. He's very good at offering suggestions but listening to what I want and making sure that I'm happy in the end. He's very friendly and professional. He knows how to cut and style very curly hair, which is no easy feat. He's awesome with mixing the right color. And what I really love is that he's quick. I like to be taken care of when I get my hair done but I just don't have time to make an entire afternoon out of my hair appt. I also really appreciate that Billy goes out of his way to make time for me and work me into his schedule. I can usually call him and get an appt. within a few days. He's very flexible and accommodating. I'm also loving the new salon he's working at -- Studio 1452. It's right off the Santa Monica Promenade, so it's easy to get parking on the street or in a parking garage. And the salon is all new, state-of-the-art everything. You can really appreciate the science of hair color and styling products when you're there! They even have ergonomic shampoo bowls that don't hurt your neck and chairs that massage your back! I love it!

Best Salon in Los Angeles area. I go to the manager Cherry, and she is great! I've had extensions, color, and cuts and have always been satisfied!

The receptionist is very friendly, and gave me a cappuccino which was delicious.

The other stylists there are also very nice, and everyone is always dressed cute. While getting your hair washed, the shampoo chairs massage you.

All together a great experience and would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic!. This place is amazing. When you step into that salon, you are right away treated like royalty. Everyone is super nice and they really enjoy doing what they do. The fact that they use all Goldwell and KMS products. It's great because you are around all different kinds of shops,restaurants, and the beach!!!! I highly recommend this salon.
