Passes My Test. I dont mess around when it comes to my own fashion and beauty. Etude Lounge was recommended to me by a fellow fashion and beauty guru, so I definitely had to try.

The stylists did a great job and i was very satisfied.

The Best!!!. I found out this place because my best friend had a wedding service done here, hair, skincare, and make-up. It's needless to say that everything was perfect. The hair wasn't done to her liking the first time though, so the stylist had to reschedule one of her appoint to do it over again, I say, very professional, very caring. I could see that she want to make this day her best day. I told myself I am coming back to someone who cares that much. Jenn, also had prep skin care package. It's done 5 services over 3 months prior to wedding day. Bo, the aesthetician, had hand of magician. I got a sample massage done with her then, and I told myself, I am coming back. The make-up also great, eveyone was happy with way the staff worked together, always asking if we needed anything. For us, coming in such an early in the morning, the salon prepared crossaint and cheese, unexpected surprise. I could tell that they really cared about us. I loved it. I came back a few weeks ago and had my hair done with Sean. The way he treated my hair with his variation of color was complete success. I love it. I love it. This is the best place. You have to really compare it with Beverly Hills' salons to appreciate how much good they are. They're the best!

Amazing Salon and Stylist. Besides being aesthetically amazing...this salon has some of Californias top hairstylist...They take their time, listen to what you want and do an amazing job. Not only are their hair cuts amazing, but they do a great job with color and straightening !! I highly recommend Etude lounge!!!

Eureka Hair Salon in Ktown. I went Etude Lounge while searching for the best salon in Yelp. It's the best salon with international flair. It's chic with modern. It's friendly with attentive staff. It's clean all the time. They serve you snack and fresh pressed coffee or tea while you wait, and plenty of room to hang out with Macs for internet lounge. The owners are known philanthropists and social capital activists who are very interesting to talk to. Most importantly, I love the stylists there. No competitive edginess... (You know the tension that you get when you want to try a different stylist at the same salon?). Etude has such talented stylists from various backgrounds and talents; I made it my mission to experiment with my hair with different stylists. I’ve gotten color done with Jay, who is absolutely artist himself. The color came out so perfect that I get compliments all the time. I also had my hair cut with Kenneth, who's English is much better than Jay (although he has an excellent assistant who can interpret, so there’s no communication mishap). The way Kenneth uses his scissors, it just fun watching him. My sister gotten her treatment and perm done with Jiun (I think… at least sounds like it), who was a celebrity stylist in Korea who says she wanted to try venture out to U.S. The result, what can I say, it’s a celebrity make over… Only downfall to Etude is that it’s a bit hard to find. It’s in Korea Town, in a new mall building of 6th Street (relatively less traveled), in a 3rd floor without recognizable sign. I heard that branching is in work… hopefully, to little more accessible place. Regardless, if you’re looking for international talents, this is a place worth checking it out. You’ll feel like you’re entering a twilight zone in Korea Town. It’s the best!
