Great neighborhood place!. My husband and I went to The Six for the first time last week. The food was great; we started with the mussels (delicious) and grilled artichoke (the salad dressing was a miss, too bland for my taste), then we had the burger (brioche bun... yummy!) and the halibut. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and well seasoned.

Our waitress was super friendly and very helpful.

A great neighborhood place!

a local must-try. Great place! Went there last night and all 4 of us loved what we ate. The halibut, shrimp, burger and mushroom pizza. And of course the sweet potato fries and air baked french fries. The chef came by our table and we ended up talking to him for a while.

Decent prices too!

Citysearch Editorial Review. It's easy to miss the rusty-red signage that indicates this restaurant has taken up residence in the space formerly known as Jack Sprat’s. But maybe that’s just a symptom if its being located on this excessively commercial part of Pico in the floating, nebulous area between Beverly Hills and West L.A. Restaurateurs Will Kargas and Jake King have turned the old “Grille” into an impressive gastro-bistro with executive chef David Gussin, whose resume includes notables like Norman’s, Petrossian and Akasha. The place has gotten serious buzz for its Bahn Mi burger, the Vietnamese standard with pork belly added in, but the beet panzanella, wild mushroom pizza with truffle oil, potato chip crusted salmon, mussels, scallops and Jidori chicken, to name a few, round out a wildly tempting menu. The Six is also a beer-lover’s paradise with a startlingly wide range of offerings considering this is not an ale house, and there's also an accomplished wine list for oenophiles.
