What People Are Saying About Della Terra

Opened in late 2009, this newcomer to Beverly Boulevard's increasingly lively dining scene aims to offer up hearty Italian fare to mid-city residents. Franco Brunetti and partners' first culinary endeavor (although Brunetti's father ran one of Las Vegas' best-known Italian restaurants for years) is an exposed-brick-laden dream, with scones softly lighting a romantic space. Northern Italian classics such as frutti di mare dominate the menu here, but we suspect it is the pizzas that will get the most attention once Della Terra attracts fans in 2010. The wood-burning oven comes direct from…

Parking:
Before you fork over money to the valet strand, know that meters are free on on Beverly after 6 pm (check signs to make sure) and that parking on nearby side streets are not permit only as of early 2010.

great place!

by keidlog

What an amazing place! The food is tasty, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is really nice too. On top of that, the prices are reasonable, and it’s very kid friendly. We went there with a $30 Groupon coupon (for $60 worth of food) last night and we were very pleasantly greeted by the owner (?) and given a newly cleaned high chair for our 1.5 our year old. The food arrived almost immediately along with a sippy cup for our one year old (much to his delight!). The grilled artichoke appetizer was superb, and the pizza’s we ordered were delightful as well (especially the pesto one with eggplant etc). The lemon ribbon pasta dish with capers was average. But above all, the dessert was the best I’ve ever had anywhere! Crème Brulee to die for and amazing creme puffs. Della Terra is worth checking out for the dessert menu alone – but has so much going for it in general.

A note: I noticed some reviewers complained that they got sub par treatment when using their groupons – but we got amazing treatment. In fact, since we were full on only $50 worth of food, and we were so pleased with the treatment, we decided to forfeit the remaining $10 on our groupon. However, when our bill came, the owner noticed, pointed it out to us, and insisted we order a pizza to go….

Good and fun, but not great

Great place to have a glass of wine outside. Pizzas are quite good, pastas are just okay. A little pricey for what it is.

Great Wine and Tuesday Night Dinners!

by RoseisRose

One of my friends introduced me to Della Terra a few weeks ago and I immediately had to bring other people in. Right now they have a Tuesday night dinner special for $16 which includes, salad, fish entree, and bread pudding-- I actually wound up ordering food off of the regular menu and it was excellent. (pizza, grilled artichoke, and gnocchi). The service is great and the atmosphere is elegant, but still inviting. I watched one of the final laker games at the bar and it was awesome, but there is only one TV so as this place gets more popular it will probably be harder to watch. This place also carries 3Sisters Cabernet which has to be one of the best wines I've ever had! Definitely recommend this place (though hesitantly b/c its great to not have to wait to get seated!)

  • Pros: Elegant but comfortable atmosphere, great food, great prices
  • Cons: parking is a little annoying, but they have valet

Yummmmyy!

by DolceVitaChick

I loved loved loved Della Terra! I gave it four stars because I couldnt find any drawbacks to the restaurant. The food was amazing, the staff was extremely helpful and , especially about their wine and beer menu... The only drawback is they allow smoking on the patio, but I guess smokers need a place to eat too.. Otherwise, I highly recommend that everyone make a trip to check it out.. Some of my favorites (Drum roll please!), include the Lasagna (out of this world) and the Brevi Costole (I Think that's the name, but its this pasta with yummy steak). We originally went there to celebrate my friends birthday, but now were regulars! :)

  • Pros: Delicious Food, Amazing Atmosphere

Excellent Italian Food

Your Review:

I went there for dinner a couple of nights ago and just loved it. The food was fantastic. We had the short rib pasta and the beet salad--both out of this world. I had heard about short rib pasta but never saw it on any menu, so when I saw it on the menu at Della Terra, I was stoked. My date ordered a bottle of the Three Girls Cabernet--it was unbelievable. He ordered the salmon dish which was perfect. It was wild salmon and perfectly cooked. Desserts were really amazing too. I highly recommend the bread pudding. The service was wonderful: very attentive but not at all intrusive. The outdoor dining area is beautiful and now that evenings are warmer, it'll be a good time to dine at this exquisite restaurant. Go -eat -relax-enjoy.
