Though the name suggests a focus on robata, the menu is surprisingly diverse. Yes, there are plenty of grilled meats and veggies on sticks, but there's also fresh sashimi, sushi specials, ramen, gyoza and a great, affordable happy hour menu. Lively atmosphere. Call ahead to reserve a patio table for dinner.

Amazing black miso cod, grilled chicken skewers, and of course...brown rice sushi. Sit on the patio to people watch along 3rd street during the summer!

This place gets packed FAST so make reservations. Thank goodness this is walking distance from my house because I need my spicy ramen and kobe beef fix to be within my zip code!

Made famous by their ramen, this branch of the Ramen Jinya mini empire also has a robata grill, sushi rolls and house made tofu.

Their table-side Tofu is incredible and well worth the wait. You can totally call in reservations as well.
