Citysearch Editorial Review – Housed in a romantic old Pasadena brick building off the main drag of Colorado, this fun spot combines a dazzling menu of Belgian craft beers with an Old-World interior and upscale French brasserie fare. Huge glass windows reveal a mahogany room with high, carved beam ceilings and regal stained glass lamps. Sleek wooden furniture and a long bar offer lounging and dining for the smart-looking Pasadena crowd. Beer snobs may abound, but this is the next best thing to being in Brussels with over 70 bottles of Belgian brews (some rare) and several rotating on tap seasonally. The list is divided into 9 types from Quadrupel to Pale Ale, Trappist, Flanders, and Lambics. Bar snacks include pommes frites, sweet and sour shallot rings and a Schreiner sausage medley, while fancier apps feature lobster bisque, seared diver scallops, steamed mussels and roasted bone marrow. Entrees range from striped bass to honey braised pork shank.
