Never!.
I do not like their food. The owner unfortunately made some ignorant statements against a black man on The Next Great Restaurant. Watch yourself on You Tube

Big Wangs in Downtown Great for Live Events.
Big Wangs in Downtown
I only went to Big Wangs in order to be a part of a "live" showing of Champions of Champions Elite they were showing, but I was also surprised by their fast, friendly service; their original drink creations; and the way their barstools were just the right height and didn't wobble.
I intend to go their again on the 22nd to watch the Kings Cup muay thai tournament.
Of course, being in Downtown LA, parking can be a bit pricy; but I think it was worth it. Great sports bar. And one of the only sports bars willing to showcase a martial arts event!

Citysearch Editorial Review.
Hot wings hit downtown L.A. in the form of this after-work hangout where locals and Hollywood transports kick back, chug beer and cheer on their favorite sports teams. Situated at the bottom of a high-rise building, the restaurant features an outdoor patio complete with cabanas and an open-brick fireplace. Patrons clad in suits, T-shirts and jeans enjoy chipotle BBQ, garlic buffalo and teriyaki wings under the stars or inside the usually packed dining area. Those who want more than "wangs" can grab bacon, guacamole and sauteed mushroom stacked burgers, Memphis style ribs and blackened salmon slathered with Cajun remoulade from the comfort food menu.

Best Outdoor Patio in LA.
I have been a fan of their Hollywood location for quite sometime - it's a real sports bar with great food and no fluff. Downtown has the same menu but everything is brand new and they have a huge patio with a fire pit. Although downtown is a bit of a drive for me, my friends and I go before and after events at Staples. My favorite wings and now my favorite patio!
