It’s fun and fast, a stylish hybrid spot that combines Brazilian BBQ with a seasonal Latin-Asian-fusion food bar. Grab a tray and slide down the long food bar loaded with over 30 sides--many of them Brazilian specialties ($8.45/lb). Choose among roasted beets, Brazilian potato salad, edamame and salmon, Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, pesto pasta, couscous, barley salad, bright green collards, lasagna, polenta, fried yucca and chicken stroganoff. Then hit up the hot meat carving station that specializes in Brazil’s most popular meats ($9.75/lb), particularly picanha--top sirloin cap--as well as pork ribs, lamb, chicken wrapped in bacon, and Brazilian sausage. Then weigh, pay and settle into stylishly modern white-hued room. A tall window wall creates a light and airy space around exposed redwood beams, white molded furniture and big art on the walls. Enjoy lively Brazilian pop music in the background, or the bustle of the sidewalk patio outside.
