If pressed for my favorite LA restaurant, I always come up with this West Hollywood meatery, in which the chefs do very little other than salt and grill some of the best small-farm meat in America. The breakfast program is outrageous too.

Doubling as a restaurant and butcher shop, this cozy West Hollywood restaurant serves up seasonal, California-fusion style grub and a mean blueberry brown butter custard tart. With only about ten wooden tables for those who want to stick around, Salt's Cure gets packed during lunchtime with customers ordering items like the signature BLT, mussells and fries, and roast lamb on pretzel roll from the daily-changing menu.
