Consistently superior steaks. BOA is a fantastic place to eat. Either the Caesar Salad or Wedge to start, and the Petit Fillet with the peppercorn rub is always perfect. Delectable sidedishes include the best mac & cheese in town (next to "Republic") and an outstanding horseraddish & potato. The service is brilliant and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The only drawback is an excessively expensive winelist. But you only live once, so eat, drink & enjoy!

been there done that. My boyfriend and I decided to check out Boa's since we've heard so much this place and figured it can't be too bad if there's three locations and has high ratings at every location. My first impression of this trendy hollywood place was pleasant as expected with the modern decor and somewhat loud but nice ambient music. Polite servers. We started with the nachos which left a funky aftertaste and the caesar salad. The Caesar salad was good and made fresh by our table, however nothing really that spectacular.... I ordered the special halibut and it was cooked perfectly, however the sauce was a bit bland. My bf ordered the aged new york steak and that was muy yummy. Mac n cheese was salty and disappointing needless to say. Overall, I'd say it's a place to go for the experience, but I wouldn't go back there again.

Great service!!! Good food!. Knowledgeable staff, and very attentive!! There service was impeccable!! LANCE YOU NEED A RAISE!!! Enjoyed it! Great date place!

Uninformed Diners. I would agree that reservation times at BOA can drag but the managment at BOA is fantastic.....and Scott Young works out of the Santa Monica location....I've meant him at a table and he was great. Please get all your info straight and know the situation before you start bad mouthing people.

Don't go there. Horrible Service!

This is one of my worst experience ever. Not only was the hostess rude, the manager, Scott Young, was even ruder. There was a mess up on our reservation time and we waited for an extra hour without a table at the end (because they were waiting for their other guests to leave). When discussing the issue with the manager, not only was he not accommodating, he became extremely defensive and was rude to the whole party. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. It's overpriced without any service at all!

Wrong reservation time, rude hostess AND Manager. Do not waste your time here. I was supposed to have my bday party here, but first they had the reservation time wrong, second,they did not even have a table ready for us even after half an hour after their recorded reservation time(when we got there an hour early!!!) third, the hostess and the manager were rude and unapolegetic. After expressing our concerns with the manager, whom I had spoken to before earlier in the day, we got an unsincere apology with no compensation to be offered. Having been so frustrated we ended up at a contrastly very satisfying restaurant, George's Bistro. I will never attempt to eat her again....

STEAK, STEAK, STEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Amazing dinner...took a couple friends from out of town to eat at the BOA on sunset...amazing. Wowed my friends from Baltimore. Had caesar salad made at the table that was strong and amazing. Steaks were all amazing...one was sent back because my friend wanted a little more fire on it, came back right away in the hands of an extremely friendly manager. Drinks were well made and wine list was large and top-notch. This place just never lets me down. I don't usually write reviews, but for BOA, you could probably get me wash my dishes before I left.

Best Tuna dish in town, great wine and excellent service. I love this place. All the dishes are very good, steak, fish, shrimp, Caesar salad all rock. I eat here about once a week. it was good before but has vastly improved this year,a 10. Enjoy!

Great Service, Great atmosphere, Decent Food, Fair Price. The first question i always ask about a restaurant, is "would you go back"..... well, no I wouldn't. But I wasn't disatisfied with my experience. For the $ there are better options. After sending our steak back 3 times to have it cooked longer, we eventually gave up and settled. By that time the rest of the party had already finished their meals. They did comp us dessert for the trouble, I would have preferred a properly cooked steak :). The weight staff was a 9/10 and I really dug the swank atmosphere.

Petit Filet Perfection. My boyfriend and I love going to Boa's West Hollywood location for exceptionally-prepared meat (we always get the petit filet, and have never been disappointed), decadent side dishes (he loves the macaroni and cheese; I like it too, but prefer the creamed spinach), and our favorite dessert (two warm chocolate chip cookies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream). The wine selection has historically been ample, though they are currently re-doing their list, so selection is somewhat limited. As for decor, the place feels hip and current, with screens of woven twigs partitioning off the geometric little nooks of tables from each other. Service is also excellent, with very attentive and knowledgeable waiters (like many in this town, they are almost all of the "actor-hopeful" variety). Boa is a great place to go on a date and to take friends in search of the modern thrill of the Sunset Strip. (NB: Their Sunday night wine special - 50% off any bottle - is a great way to cap off the weekend.)
