Delicious!. I love the food at Plancha Tacos and am so excited every time I get to eat there. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. What more could I ask for?

So Yummy!. So glad Plancha opened in the neighborhood! The food is so yummy and they are open late. I love the jimmy tacos and the taquitos! Friends also swear by the tilapia in butter lettuce.

Originally named Blancho's (a cease and desist letter from an Arizona-based chain of the same name quickly changed that), this easygoing eatery serves tasty semi-authentic south-of-the-border fare that uses only locally sourced ingredients. Tacos are the most popular menu item here, but the shredded beef taquitos might be the best deal (two large taquitos are $3.75 and the order comes with refried beans and a small salad). Although the restaurant is small, it's worth eating at the 10-seat counter, where you can watch cooks through a glass divider as you eat your fajitas or burritos. The seafood here is particularly good--the spicy shrimp scampi taco with melted jack, onions and cilantro is a must-try.
